Schwartz Castle German Village

The Schwartz Castle was absolutely wonderful! We loved this historic place. We were here for a wedding at High Line Car House, & it was a perfect location, just a short walk to the venue! Quaint area, even just off the highway, you didn’t hear it. Lots of coffee shops nearby, restaurants & a great deli right across the street. There is no yard, there is a small area in back with a table & seating for 6, & a cute area in front if you wanted to enjoy the outdoors, but we could take the kids to Schiller park for them to play, not a far walk. We had 9 adults & 4 kids staying in the house, & we had plenty of space, the basement was a great hit with the kids & us adults. The owner has thought of everything you will need for your stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever you would want. The coffee bars were fully stocked with all kinds of coffees & different creamers, plus to go coffee cups provided. The bathrooms were all provided with makeup removers, extra toilet paper, Kleenex tissue boxes, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash in each shower, plenty of hand soap. Everything was clean, beds comfortable. I’ve never rented a place before that had extra stuff, that we didn’t have to go to the grocery store for something, Brent has thought of it all!! The popcorn & toppings was a big hit too with the kids! We ALL enjoyed our stay, & would absolutely rent this again. Thank you Brent for being such a wonderful host & letting us enjoy your place!

It was a very unique place to stay, with lots of interesting history and lore. It was spacious, stocked with everything you could want for cooking and entertainment, was well maintained, and in a great location. The host was always quick to respond to inquires, and was very helpful and accommodating for our group. This place helped make our trip one to remember. 10/10 would recommend

Close to everything we wanted to do. Walked to most of our weekend events. German Town has so much to offer. We loved our stay. Beautiful house! My wife wants to move in permanently! Ha Ha! Host was super! Exceptionally clean.

The house had everything we could ever need! The owners thought of everything and the house was so comfortable!
